Wheeler Cottage - Ideally suited for a couple or a young family
Converted from the original former rectory stables, Wheeler Cottage is the smaller of our two self-catering holiday cottages. It has a vaulted roof in the lounge/kitchen area and a view over the Rectory gardens. The cottage has one room with a king-size bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds, suitable for children. The cottage accommodates four people and is ideally suited for a couple, a young family or a business person working in the local area.
Wheeler Cottage is well equipped with a fully fitted modern kitchen including an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. There is a bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC, and basin. Professionally laundered linen and towels are included. The cottage has complimentary Wi-Fi access as well as a Smart TV and a DVD player. An iron and ironing board are available.
Our guest car park with 24hr CCTV recorded security provides on-site parking for one car per cottage. There is no parking available for a second car on-site.
The Rectory Lacock is situated in the unspoiled medieval village of Lacock where there is plenty to see and explore including Lacock Abbey and the beautiful local countryside. There are several pubs in the village; all with a different feel and character. All serve food. One of the largest garden centres in the country, Whitehall Garden Centre, is walking distance from the cottage and well worth a visit. The Rectory Cottages are close to Corsham Court and village, Castle Coombe, Bowood House, Bath, Longleat, and Avebury. Slightly further afield is Highclere Castle, Stonehenge, and Marlborough.
The cottage has its own private garden and shares a dedicated patio area with Lenton Cottage.
